What a Difference a Cable Makes

I don’t think I realized just how fast a cable modem direct Internet connection was.  At home I’m on a wireless network; at work I’m on a wireless network; and in remote office I was on a wireless network.  At our remote office we just got internet service.  I’m on the direct line, and I [...]

Shop ’til You Drop

I love shopping.  I really do.  Please don’t let my wife read this post.  A good bargain is a shop-aholics dream come true.  And, in my humble opinion, no one can find the best prices like I can.  Especially on the Internet.

Long Island’s Top Websites List – Revisited

I’m so excited that we finally attracted two new websites to The List!  That means there’s hope that this could catch on.  I guess it’s like starting any new business (though this isn’t a business, but a service).  You have to attract people.  You have to prospect.

We had a brownout here for about 90 minutes.  Power was finally restored; Cable was fine; VOIP was fine; but we couldn’t access the Internet (we have cable access).  How bizarre.
Obviously we [...]

Firefox 3.0

Release candidate 1 is available now for downloading/testing.  I’ve been using it now for two days and I’m very impressed so far.  It renders pages faster, looks a little sleeker.  One thumb up (pending second thumb after it’s running for about a week).
If you’d like to comment and provide your own feedback, I started a [...]
